I got a question from a reader the other day asking about whether or not there was software that could track the location of an Iphone. He has a teenage son who he had purchased an Iphone for, and wanted to be able to keep tabs on where his son was for safety reasons.

It depends on the Iphone model you want to monitor, but you may have to “jailbreak” the phone. This probably sounds a lot more complicated than it is, I’m told it’s a very simple procedure. It will just add a few minutes to the installation process.
